Brush fire burns one acre

ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST - A brush fire broke out Tuesday night and charred one acre.

No one was reported injured and no structures were threatened.

Robert Diaz, supervising county fire dispatcher, said the fire was reported at 6:14 p.m. in the Eaton Canyon area. He said it burned in medium to heavy brush.

Andre Gougis, another supervising county fire dispatcher said the fire was seen in the canyon and went up a hill. He added that firefighters knocked down the blaze by 7:05 p.m.

No one was evacuated.
